The New York Vein Center Our Approach to Treatment Options
The New York Vein Center’s minimally invasive procedures that effectively treat venous disease of the legs, hands and face are performed by an experienced, highly trained and accomplished board certified vascular surgeon, David M. Glass, MD, FACS., who guides his patients’ care every step of the way through post procedure care. NYVC patients begin with a private consultation with Dr. Glass, their history is taken, a physical exam performed and a preliminary diagnosis is made.
At this point Dr. Glass usually recommends an ultrasound be scheduled at NYVC’s Vascular Ultrasound Lab during a follow up visit to confirm his diagnosis, and to guide him in choosing the right procedure that best serves his patient’s requirements to gain the desired result.
The centerpiece of NYVC’s practice emphasizes patient care, which begins during an initial inquiry leading to a comprehensive consultation, the precision vascular ultrasound, expertly performing the select procedure and continues through post-procedure care. The success of the practice is rooted in their ability to consistently meet and exceed patient expectations. For example, helping patients with the all-important application of their insurance, as most NYVC procedures are covered by patients’ policies. It is the medical and administrative team’s broad experience and uncommon standards for patient care that have made NYVC a premier practice, achieving one of the region’s highest clinical and technical success rates.
